Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at mystery.markets and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Mystery Market ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, browsing listings, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Mystery Market is an independent third-party marketplace for digital in-game items. We facilitate online payment and coordinate manual in-game trade delivery or instant delivery of digital gift links where offered. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., Uplift Games (Adopt Me), Nikilis or other Murder Mystery 2 rights holders, Gamer Robot (Blox Fruits), or any game publisher or platform. Game and platform names, logos, and item imagery are used for identification only and remain trademarks of their respective owners.
2. Roles: buyers and sellers
When you purchase through the Service, you are the buyer. Listings are offered and fulfilled by Mystery Market and authorized platform operators (the seller). We do not operate a public peer-to-peer marketplace; third parties cannot list inventory for sale without our authorization. All prices, availability, delivery timing, and refund decisions for orders placed on the Service are determined by us in accordance with these Terms.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, consistent with common platform minimum ages.
- The Arcade (games and Robux-denominated play) is restricted to users who are 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live). By entering the Arcade you self-certify that you meet this requirement.
- If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the marketplace portions of the Service only with permission and ongoing supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf — but you may not use the Arcade.
- If you are under 13, you may not use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- You must provide an accurate Roblox username and maintain a Roblox account capable of receiving in-game trades in the relevant experience (e.g. Adopt Me, Murder Mystery 2, Blox Fruits, or limited trading experiences).
4. Accounts
You may sign in using Discord. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose fraud or security risk, or abuse support or payment systems.
5. Digital goods and delivery
Purchases are for digital virtual items delivered through manual in-game trades after payment verification—not instant automatic delivery. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash from Roblox or us. Catalog prices may change based on market data, stock, demand, and operational costs.
After payment is confirmed, our team coordinates delivery in the applicable Roblox experience. Typical fulfillment begins once verification completes, but timing depends on staff availability, order volume, game server status, and your availability to accept a trade. You must join the game and cooperate with delivery instructions. Failure to respond within a reasonable time may be treated as abandonment of delivery without refund.
Redemption keys, order IDs, and delivery tickets are for your use only. Keys are single-use, time-limited where applicable, and tied to your linked identities. Transferring, reselling, or sharing keys, or attempting to exploit the redemption system, may void your order without refund.
6. Roblox and game rules
Trading virtual items through third-party services may violate Roblox Terms of Use, experience rules, or developer policies. You accept full responsibility for your Roblox account and any enforcement action (warnings, suspensions, bans, rollback, or loss of items). We are not liable for Roblox moderation, game updates, server outages, anti-cheat systems, or changes that affect item value or tradability.
7. Payments
We may offer card payments (processed by Stripe), cryptocurrency (e.g. via NOWPayments or similar processors), Cash App, and Robux game pass payments through Roblox. You authorize us and our payment partners to charge the total shown at checkout, including a disclosed delivery service fee for manual in-game fulfillment and any applicable taxes we are required to collect. The service fee is not a government tax unless separately labeled as such. You are responsible for fees charged by your bank, card issuer, wallet, or payment app. We do not control third-party processor availability or decline decisions.
8. Refunds and cancellations
Because we sell digital goods with manual fulfillment, all sales are generally final except where required by law or as described below. Use the order support page with your order ID before opening a payment dispute or chargeback.
- Card (Stripe): Eligible refunds for undelivered orders or verified service failures may be processed back to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing times depend on your bank (often 5–10 business days).
- Cryptocurrency: Blockchain payments are generally final and cannot be reversed on-chain. Refunds, if granted, may be issued as store credit or an alternative method at our discretion.
- Robux / game pass: Payments are completed in Roblox. We usually cannot claw back Robux after you purchase a game pass. Refunds are rare and only at our discretion for clear errors (duplicate charge, no delivery after reasonable time).
- Cash App: Manual verification. Refunds, if approved, are handled case-by-case and may require proof of payment.
We do not offer refunds for buyer's remorse, incorrect Roblox username entered by you, account bans, items lost after successful delivery, or loss of in-game value after delivery. Payment processing or platform fees may be non-refundable.
9. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Filing a chargeback, payment reversal, or processor dispute after receiving items—or without contacting us first to resolve the issue—may be treated as fraud. We may suspend your account, refuse future orders, and provide transaction and delivery records to payment processors and financial institutions. You remain liable for chargeback amounts, fees, and costs we incur defending illegitimate disputes.
10. Order issues and support
If something goes wrong, use the order support page promptly with your order ID and Roblox username. We review delivery logs, trade proof, and payment records. Repeated false claims or abuse of the dispute process may result in a permanent ban.
11. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Commit fraud, payment reversals in bad faith, or chargeback abuse
- Impersonate staff, other users, or rights holders
- Exploit checkout, APIs, redemption keys, pricing, or delivery systems
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service without permission
- Harass staff, other customers, or delivery agents
- Attempt to launder funds, evade sanctions, or use stolen payment methods
- Resell or commercially redistribute items obtained through the Service where prohibited
12. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive only a limited, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purchases. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
Game names, logos, item names, and images displayed on the Service belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. We do not claim ownership of third-party trademarks or copyrights. See our Legal Disclaimer for non-affiliation and trademark notices.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to the contact address listed in the Legal Disclaimer with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers. We respond to valid trademark complaints in good faith.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and all digital goods are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific delivery times, permanent item availability, or that virtual items will retain any particular in-game value.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our operators, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, account bans, or loss of virtual items, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service or a specific order is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for that order or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mystery Market, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of Roblox or game rules, your payment disputes filed in bad faith, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
16. Dispute resolution and governing law
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to use the order support page and allow at least thirty (30) days to attempt informal resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
Except for qualifying small-claims matters or requests for injunctive relief, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or, if you are not a U.S. resident, by arbitration in English on an individual basis. You and we waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Either party may bring an individual action in state or federal court located in Delaware only if arbitration is unavailable or unenforceable under applicable law.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud risk, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, dispute resolution) survive termination.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where practicable.
19. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
20. Contact
For order problems and disputes, use your order page first, then the order support page. For legal or privacy inquiries related to mystery.markets, use that same page with "Privacy request" or "Legal" in the subject.
